I need help from anyone who took NCLEX in California!

I took NCLEX last Thursday on 2/2/2012 at 10:15am, and stopped around question 86 I guess.

I tried PVT 6 hours after the exam and has been getting good pop-up since then.

I have been checking BON everyday but my name is still not on the list...

Yesterday, I found someone else who took the exam on the same date and at the same time got her name on BON.

Now I see a thread that is saying PVT is unreliable and my anxiety level is getting higher and higher over time. I almost cried this morning...

How long do BON usually take before they post our name on their website?

Should I email them? or call them?

I will wait for your reply..

I am in great despair..

How long ago did you graduate nursing school? Has your school submitted all of the required paperwork to the BON to prove that you graduated? If not, that could be the hold up.

In my case, about a week passed between when I took the NCLEX and when my name appeared on the BON website. Usually it only takes 2-4 days. I called the BON (I know they say not to, but I found it actually wasn't that hard to get through to a live person) and learned that the paperwork verifying that I had graduated was sitting on somebody's desk somewhere. The person who answered said they would process the paperwork that same day and I guess they did, because my name appeared on the website either the next day or the day after. I took the NCLEX less than 2 weeks after graduation. This was in June 2008.

I just called BON and was able to talk to the operator but they kept saying the result will be sent in mail within 3-4 weeks and they are NOT the one who can check the result for me.

I don't know what's going on with BON. Now they don't deal with NCLEX result? I am confused...

hey they dont give results over the phone....im in CA too i know you really have to wait for the official results once you get that paper stating you passed and they dont put your name on the BON website if you havent paid 150 dollars for your license.....just relax and wait for the results good pop is a good thing

Pay $150 dollars for my licence? what do you mean?

I paid $200 for NCLEX registration and another $200 when I sent my paper application to BON... Is there any extra that i need to pay?

once you get your results....................and it says PASS..yes you would still need to pay 150 for your actual license unfortunately thats when they give you your LVN CA card...but im sure itll be worth it

I took NCLEX-RN, not NCLEX-PN..

So I need to pay $150 more after I get the official result via mail?

I took the NCLEX-RN in CA on Jan 19th 2012. About 8 other people in my graduating class took the exam the SAME day as well. Long story short, about 3 of them saw their name and license # on the BRN website about 7 days later. I was PANICKED because my name was not there (and neither were some of my other classmates), and we took the exam on the same day. My name (and my other classmates names) all finally appeared on the BRN site about 12 days after our test date. Moral of the story is have patience. I know that this is much easier said than done, TRUST ME!! I did the pearson vue trick, and I whole heartedly believe that it works!!! Good luck to you, and try to enjoy your weekend!! Yes you still have to pay 150 for ur license even if ur an rn you renew it every 2 years which is 150

Now my hope is there... Thank you so much for your info once again..

I took my NCLEX on 2/2 also (Southern California). I've gotten the PVT pop-up. Official results came in the mail on 2/10 for me. Now to pay $150 to actually obtain my license, boo...
