  1. I am looking into this school also. The tuition is about half of West Coast University, which I am also looking into. But so far, their biggest con for ME is that they do not offer any financial aid or assistance. However, you can pay per semester but must be paid by the end of each semester. I read pages back from a poster here that if you fail to pay the price of that semester in full by the end, then you may be set back and not go forward to the next semester. This is very bad. But I will find out more information once I meet with an advisor next Monday.
  2. Congrats! I am also thinking of doing ISU oppose to West Coast University. I just can not fathom being over 100k+ in debt, not to mention the interests! The only good part to WCU is it's quick - but burns your bank account (for years and years to come by paying back student loan). Sooo..that's why I am thinking of ISU. I wanted to ask what made you decide to go to ISU? I am really just weighing my options. It's well into mid year and deadlines after deadlines....I really need to make a decision quickly.
  3. Lilwhitehat - have you started??? I don't know if you're still active on Allnurses. If you have started, how is it for you so far?
  4. I took my NCLEX on 2/2 also (Southern California). I've gotten the PVT pop-up. Official results came in the mail on 2/10 for me. Now to pay $150 to actually obtain my license, boo... Good luck to you. I'm sure it's good news for you.
  5. Actually, I'm really surprised I got the result in the mail way before 4 weeks, being that I live in CA too. I'm pretty sure you passed though, but I know that seeing the letter in the mail is the only way to rest so I understand. I hope you receive it soon!
  6. Hey! I got the official results through the mail yesterday aaaaaand...I paasssssssssseeerdddddddddd!!! So I guess pvt is absolutely accurate. And guess what? Even my lvn instructor said it is sooooo to those who got the pop up message.....rest assured, you frikkin passed!
  7. I'm so envious of those who live in states that participate in quick results Does anybody know why California doesn't participate in quick results??? This whole waiting period sucks balls.
  8. I took the NCLEX on 2/2 in the AM, stopping at the minimum question that they can give you Oh my goodness, guys. I felt horrible walking out of the building. All I wanted to do was get wasted and call it a day LOL. Well, later in the PM, I went ahead and tried to register on pearson vue and got the pop up message, no cc page! I won't rest until I get my actual results though! I live in California so I've got some waiting to go (for LVN result, not RN). Wish me luck, super congratulations to those who received their passed, and good luck to those who are awaiting the results like me!
