I am new to TX and I am having trouble finding nurse malpractice insurance. I carried a 6 million dollar policy in NM for less than $100/yr. The same company offers a $100K policy in TX for $300/yr. Where can I get good insurance here? I am a travel nurse and I want to get the most insurance available. Thank You. Steph

I purchased my professional Liability Insurance at http://www.proliability.com for $89 per year. The coverage is $1 million per incident and $6 million aggregate. This insurance is underwritten by Marsh Affinity.
NSO raised their Texas rates since Texas is known as a high-risk state with many lawsuits.
Thank you. I will contact them in the morning. Appreciate your time.
Steph.
