I need advice on school

I'm pre-nursing student and I need help on making decision what school to go. I'm accepted at CC for AD program spring 2013 in MN but I live in another state and currently working as CNA in a hospital so should I quite my work and move to MN to go to school My family live there and I used to live there.I will have a place to stay and my mom can look after my son. The state where where I live I can apply for BSN in fall 2013 should I just wait for it and continue working as a CNA or move and go for AD program spring 2013?

I eventually wan to move to Mn and get a job at Mayo clinic or other hospitals there by the way the AD program I will be doing clinicals at Mayo clinic.

I would say go for the ADN, especially since you have been admitted, have help with your child, and have family there. The ADN program starts sooner and you said you eventually want to move to MN.

Check with the HR Department to see if the Mayo Clinic will hire ADNs. In past years they have required a BSN to be hired as a RN.

Mayo does hire ADN's especially those who go to RCTC. But looking at the website for open jobs they are starting to move toward BSN only in some areas. Mayoclinic.com job search will let you see current jobs and will list the requirements for each. Hope this helps
