Nursing Students General Students

i am in need of some advice please!! i am signed up for human physiology with a lab. i also am signed up to take intro to pharmacology and fundamentals of nursing i. that will be 12 hours total. the one teaching the course is all about essay and short answer tests. however, next semester it will be a different instructor. she is all about multiple choice tests. i will also just be getting my feet wet with the nursing program itself. i got a b for the first half of the course.

here is to question should i take the physiology class this semester or next?

i am taking micro in the summer 05. i took two classes this summer!

do you have summers off? i also need to take physio, and plan on doing it next summer all by itself.

my situation is this: i am in the rn program at one college and was given permission to take the a&p class at another. this means i will be going to two colleges. the a&p class is offered in the spring semesters only. i have the anatomy part out of the way {with a b for a final grade. :rotfl: }that is why i need to know how much time i'll need for the nursing classes. i must take the nursing classes. the a&p is the one i can keep or drop and take it in the spring.:uhoh3:

i agree with tweety.... take the a&p class now because you will find you really do need it with the nursing classes. :) good luck!!

Gosh, I want to know where you guys are going to college. I had to have Anatomy & Physiology I out of the way before I could even apply for any nursing classes. We are so competitive here in the Southern MD area that we have to have ALL prerequs out of the way including A&P I and II and all others. Where are you guys gong to school, I have to sign up!

It's going to be a challenge for me as well. This fall I am taking A&P 1 (4 cr), Pharmacology (3 cr) and Nursing Adaptation 1 (6 credits). I had hoped to get A&P out of the way before starting the nursing classes, but due to some curricula changes and my school, this was not possible. Fortunately, I've already taken Microbiology and all of the general ed, humanities, and social science requirements transferred from my previous degree.

Let me try to get this straight, you want to take physiology and lab at another campus this fall and take Nursing and Pharm at another? Why all the hassle and MONEY when you can take it in the correct sequence for your schools curriculm? I would wait it out until next semester just for the fact of saving you time and money that you can then dedicate your studying to the nursing and then take physiology in the spring when offered at your college with your nursing. Good luck at whatever you decide when you put your mind to it you can do anything. I will be taking 15 credits and graduating this semester with my BSN and working full time with a family.
