Keep the motivation up! When studying anatomy learn your systems and how they work, don't just memorize their parts. This is the single most important message in anatomy. Not only does this help you to remember the parts, you will be better prepared to apply that knowledge to nursing. Good luck!
Please make sure you have fully investigated the requirements for a nursing license.
In Canada you must have graduated from a recognized school of nursing in order to get a license. I am not sure about the US but it probably is similar.
You should probably start investigating schools of nursing and see what their admission requirements are. You will need other sciences besides anatomy and Math and English too.

i am very interested in becoming a nurse and am trying to study at home until i can afford to go back to school. as of now i am looking into anatomy, but am unsure of how detailed i need to know everything. i have found a way to study pretty much everything that is required of a nurse, except of course hands on training.:yeah:if anyone can tell me any good sites to get information, or even help me figure out where to begin i would really appreciate it. i would like to become a nurse anesthetist and was hoping someone could guide me on a career path.
