I just took Kaplan trainer # 6 and scored 58

Hi all. I just took Kaplan trainer #6 and scored 58. I have been averaging mid to upper 50's on the trainers except for trainer #3 where I scored 51. My Q bank question scores have ranged from the mid 50's to 70's. I scored 60 on the readiness test and 62 on the diagnostic test. I have been doing Kaplan and NCLEX Mastery App questions but primarily Kaplan. I am scheduled to test on Wed this week. I was wondering if anyone had similar scores and passed on the first try? My nerves are starting to get the best of me.

Thanks for listening

Thanks :) Yes. Kaplan was the majority. I did the entire program for them and the mastery app I used for convience because it was on my cell phone and I didn't have to use my labtop. If I was out somewhere or couldn't sleep I could burn through a crap load of questions. It also has like 50 plus pneumonics and other neat features that was very helpful. I also reviewed as much content from block 3 and 4 as my brain could stand. I think that Kaplan and NCLEX mastery helped me learn how to answer the questions and break the questions down and taught me extra content that we didn't go over in school but I personally have to say that reviewing the content from my books and powerpoint slides and notes helped me just as much. I didn't realize just how much information that I had forgotten about from one semester to the next. For me, it seemed as if the information in nursing school just comes at you so fast. One week your doing cardiac and the next week your on to a different subject and you are just trying to make it from one exam to the next. I studied my ever loving booty off while I was in school and I did well but I still forgot a crap load of stuff. When I reviewed it and my notes, it came back to me pretty quickly because I studied so hard and took detailed notes during the semester but I can honestly say that if I had not made it a point to review the content, I probably would not have finished it as soon as i did or not passed it at all. Good luck with your studies and keep me posted.
