Hi everyone! Here is my dilemma; I called Solano last Thursday, and spoke to someone in the Nursing Dept. who was kind enough to look up my new wait list # since it was the 6th and the letters still had not went out yet, and my number was 48!! Which at first I was thinking it was still too high, until she said "That's great, we take 48 a year."
Fast forward one week later, today, I get my letter and the number says 51!!! So I've been calling all day, they're in a meeting which has taken over 3 hours, now they are gone...I am trying not to be devastated, and praying that 3 people had dropped off after the letters were printed on the 1rst, and so the number she verbally told me is actually my number....any thoughts? I've been waiting so many years

Hello! Im currently a nursing student at Solano! I was number 56 (then an alternate) and got in last year. It sounds like you have really good odds at making it in this fall. I know it is hard still not knowing for sure, but i would definitely be making plans to start with a number like that! Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to email me (i mean it), I know this whole process is exhauting, so hang in there!!

I just got my letter today. I'm #52! It feels like I have been waiting for sooooo long! I emailed the school today to ask how many students they admit every year & what are the odds of me getting in next August. I'm nervous that I will miss out! What are your thoughts?
GonnaBanRN- How many alternates made it into the program with you? Do you know how far they got in the numbers?
Thanks Gina, I just emailed you, and cbaum9, I remembered there was someone really close to me here, just one number farther than me infact! Based on what I was told yesterday it sounds pretty definite we'll both make the cut, 15-20 sometimes even more alternates are chosen each year!! :)

hey just wondering you guys, how long did you guys wait to become that far up on the list? It must be a long wait, i have yet to apply to a wait list school being that yuba you had to take pathio and I just been applying to other schools in Sac.
From app to getting in next year will be 3 years! Good luck, apply to multiple, I only applied here as I didn't want to commute, but if I had it to do over again, I would have applied to Napa too :)
Ya this would be my first semester considering a few other schools but Im feeling more and more limited finding out a lot of Schools don't take more than one repeat. Sorry I wanted to ask one more thing about solano CC, do they except more than one repeat in sciences? I'd appreciate if I got an answer it would save my drive to Fairfield campus this December for the informational meeting. I live in elk grove.

Sorry I wanted to ask one more thing about solano CC, do they except more than one repeat in sciences? I have a W and a F on my transcript but of course I retook the classes for better grades.
