I hate the PA BON

3 weeks ago I sent in my application and a check for License by endorsement.

They have not cashed the check, I haven't been able to reach them by phone. I have left them voicemail messages after being transfered and or on hold for up to 30 minutes.

I spoke with another department today that told me "oh, endorsements sometime leave the office early".

IDK, very frustrated, just venting.

I can't remember, but does PA have a consumer advocate? Here in Jersey, I had a problem with the NJ BON. The licenses come out of the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. I made one phone call to the State Switch board and was connected to the number of the consumer Advocate. By the end of the day I had my answer and no more problem. It is worth a shot. Another thing that you can try is the Jersey Way of doing business. Find the state congressman of the district that you are moving to . Write him or her a letter stating you are a nurse, you want to work in(name the town), but you haven't heard from the BON concerning your license and would they look into it for you because you really want to get to work. You will get an answer and your PA license. A politician always needs votes.
