Just got my acceptance letter to the LPN program for August! OMG, I am so excited! And scared! I am going on 40, with 2 kids. I feel as if I may be somewhat insane to do this, but never the less I'm doing it, LOL!! I will have to drive on the highway, and I've NEVER done that. I have all summer to get my courage up. I will love it tho, YEAH ME!!
What is everyone else's status on school? Just starting? Waiting for acceptance? Finishing up soon?
So excited to start this new adventure in my life :)
Upper Cape Cod Tech. It was the only one I applied to, so grateful to have gotten in :)
Congratulations. I assure you there will be people older than you and many have children. You will not be alone. I take it you're a native cape codder since you mention you have never driven on the highway. :-) get your practice in because many clinicals are off cape.
I got in to LPN school.not sure if any jobs up here in BC Canada
I did 3 years of psych nursing and have a ba psychology.
Its not as difficult as they make it our to be.I found the work interesting and somewhat easy
I found the other students in my first cohort really catty.
Getting along and gaining support is 90% of the battle
The impression you make with teaches too is
vital.always be professional and s lesder
Congrats and gl
