good luck to you,

hopefully you won't end up like me with 5 rejection letters from them.

ahhh!!! Thank you GUYS! Greatly appreciate it!!! OMG I hope I dont get a rejection letter!!! :(:(

I'm kinda expecting it though...

i'm applying with a 3.2 gpa (will be a 3.5 after summer classes) but they are looking at my 3.2 to decide. I'm hoping they look at other factors too! Like, the fact that I have well over 60 credit hrs from a university and turned in two recommendation letters! :sniff:

*sighs* this sucks!

Honestly, I do not know how people get into that program. I know someone who turned in an application with me, I had a 3.3 and she had a 2.8 and she got in and I didn't.

So I don't understand.

BCC took away their waiting list, so I know someone that applied in feb of last year, and got in the fall term.

I haven't talked to her in a while, so I don't know if she passed or not, because last time I talked to her, she was not doing so great in pharm.

anyhow,

the best of luck to you.

I turned my application in on January of this year. I applied for both the Generic and Accelerated program, I figure I'll increase my chances if I apply for both. Since I did it so early I've mostly just forgotten about it. Do you know when they start sending letters out?

I wanted to apply for the accelerated prgrm as well but I only have 60 credit hrs and you need a degree to do so. BLAH! LoL I was told by the advisor that applications usually go out in July! Best of luck to you!

Good luck to all of you that are working to get into the MDC program. I am just finishing up my second semester of the full time generic program.

If you have any questions about the programs...feel free to drop me a line.

Thank you!!!!! How is it going for you so far?! I'm sooo excited about, hopefully, starting the Program this fall! If you don't mind me asking, what was your GPA when you applied to the prgrm?

I applied with a 3.93...I went ahead and for an AA during the prerequisites. I would HIGHLY recommend doing all the corequisites before going to school I have a few class mates that are trying to survive Med/Surg, Pharmacology AND Microbiology.

The program is fine. Don't let the first semester fool you. The first semester is a breeze. The second semester is rough. I am the ONLY person in my class that has an A in Med/Surg and Pharmacology right now. Quite a few people in my class were caught off guard..thinking that they could breeze through the second semester. KEEP UP WITH YOUR READING!!!

Again...good luck.

The RN program at MDC sucks...a lot of changes and making students' life miserable...It's one of the hardest to get in, to stay and the hardest to get out..

Honestly, I lost faith in MDC nursing program because of what students went thru just to get out...they keep changing the rules and regulations..

in short..weed out students on the 3rd, 4th semester..

I stopped recommending MDC to family and friends who want to get their nursing degree.

Good luck to you

IDK what it takes to get into that program.. because they never wanted me as much as I wanted to be in that program.

I ended up at BCC- and as long as you do what you need to do- you will be fine there.

and the rules- pretty much stay the same- no changes in a long long long time.

they just need to get with the program and let students use calculators during math tests-(BCC)
