Well, if there's one thing we nurses have on our side is the ease of finding employment. You don't have to accept the first thing that comes along. Some places will over-work their employees and, as one particular nurse recently stated, nurses can vote with their feet (meaning they can walk off the job!)
On the othe hand, you sould find something that you can stay with long enough for some work history on your resume.

I've been working in long term care and I absolutely hate it!!!! I've worked there for about a month and I really want to quit.. it's making me feel as if I've chosen the wrong career path!!! The facility I work for is soo short staffed, pay isn't that good ($16) benefits are expensive and work load is horrible (50 to 1)... I'm trying to hold out until something else comse along,but I think I should get out now... before I jeopardize my license. Seeing that they're so short staffed and I don't feel properly trained!!!
