Published

Hi everyone

After I have been waiting for my result for 3 weeks from CA.I forund out that I fail in my 2nd attemp.

Here my story....I fail in muy first time with 120Qs(in med and Psycho),then I fail again @75Qs (in safty and infection control).I felt like dump.and asking my selt how stupid I am that keep failing the test with minimum of the question.:banghead:

But I have to thank you for all my supporter that they gave me a positive way to think and move on...of course thanks for all the allnurses member that gave me advices and support.

Anyone here in the sam situation like me or have been thru this before????Please give me the bright ways for me to start it over and be ready for NCLEX-RN for next time.

Thank you:cry:

I am going throught the same thing. I have taken NCLEX 3 times and failed. It is a very upsetting and frustrating thing I can agree with you on that! I feel like I am stupid and am never going to become the nurse I always wanted to be. But you just have to take a few days and just regather yourself. Right now I am studying away to take it again in the end of september. I am scared to death but I know that I will one day become an RN and nothing is going to stop me!! I am thinking about doing the hurst review. I have heard a lot of really good things about it. If you need anyone to talk to please feel free to chat with me. I understand what your going through! Best of luck to you!! keep your head up!! I will be praying for you!!:D

You are NOT stupid.

Thinks happen for a reason.

Never give up.

Reapply for the NCLEX and keep studying!

I'll try my luck for the 2nd time before this year ends.

You are definitely not stupid. You made it through nursing school and no stupid person can do that! :D I took my test yesterday and don't have results yet. However, I can tell you that it was the hardest test I have ever taken. I didn't take any review courses. I just used my med surg books from school and did some questions from exam cram and NCLEX 4000. After taking the test, I don't know what I could have done differently to better prepare. The questions just seem so vague and I was never really sure what they were getting at. Anyway, don't feel stupid. That is the problem with standardized tests. Not everyone thinks alike or tests alike. Your failing the test is no reflection of your intelligence. If faced with the same patient in real-life, I am sure you would make the right decision about what to do. You would have all kinds of input from the patient, situation and environment that would guide your decision. On a piece of paper, the patient is an inanimate object with no input or actions. All you can do is try again. Talk with others and see if you can pinpoint the problem you are having and try to correct it. I wish you luck and will send good vibes your way.:heartbeat

Thank you guys.I am thinking I will take this week off and then I will study again.I think I will take review class with Kaplan and study more(more..more and more cuz I have to work and study in the same time).Maybe someday I will make my day just like you said.

You are not alone! I have failed 3 times and feel so stupid! But guess what.... I will take it again in January! I will pass Boards with the help of God! I have been fasting, praying, believing, and studying....no good results but I must have faith! My day is coming! I have changed my plan... I will take a Kaplan Review Course this time and use Saunders questions only because too many review books have confused me! I have learned after the 3rd attempt that it's not how many questions you do per day but to make sure you understand the one's you do! (I was doing approx. 200 questions per day previously). This is my plan and I will stick with it! I will pass NCLEX on my 4th attempt in Jesus' Name!
