I can't decide!

I recently got two job offers within days of eachother (go figure! --when it rains...:cheeky:).

I am between a LTACH (Kindred) with 1:5 patient ratio and a SNF and LTC (Genesis) with a patient ratio of 1:12(less acute patients).

The LTACH I think is probably going to be more challenging and stressful, but i feel i would learn alot. But not alot of areas to grow in the company. would stay as a staff RN. pay is a few dollars higher per hour than SNF. day shift 12 hour shifts

The SNF is less stressful but there are areas to grow in the management eventually. evening shift (3-11). better orientation process, got a better feel that they will help me more than the LTACH.

They are the same commute distance, so that does not play a role.

I am a nurse with 1year med surg/tele and 1 year outpatient office/2 months endoscopy. I'm nervous (but excited) to go back to clinical with a year sort of out of it. And i fear the LTAC thinks I will be able to jump right in, when i feel ill need a little more help. I know the decision is ultimately mine but wondering if maybe someone here can provide insight.

I know overall Kindred does not have a good reputation as an employer. Your location may be different than the rest, but I'm just throwing that out there..
