Hi,

I am also a LVN in Ca and had no luck with any job callbacks. I've applied for many jobs thus far and most want at least a year of experience. How will we get any experience if no one will hire us. Also nurses are supposedly, "high in demand." Does anyone know of any facitilies hiring in the East Bay?

Have you try to apply sutter health? They are planing to hire more LVN in the future.

I just got hire recently at PAMF, but it has took me a year to find it after graduation.

Cold call are hard, but that's the only way to let the hiring people to know your egerness.

Try to spend time and stop by the facility around your area and drop off your resume.

It's not easy but it might gives you a chance. ;)

I had to move out of state to find a job (from the East Bay as well, originally). I still keep in contact with a few of my classmates and a year after graduation, only 2 have found full-time jobs. Some have found PRN positions but only get called once a week or so. I hope the job market will start easing up soon for everyone.

I've been out of school a year now, and still no LVN job. I've been searching but I'm losing hope that I will ever get hired as a LVN. I might not get hired until after I receive my RN who knows, maybe I will have a hard time as even new grad RNs are having issues finding jobs. Good Luck to everyone.
