I aced my ACT's!

yay! I just got home from a LONG day on campus, taking the ACTs, going to info sessions, etc but I got my score report today before I left and I killed it! I am so excited cause this means that I will get more points so I have a greater chance of getting admitted! Thanks for letting me brag a little, my husband is at work, my mom's not home, you guys are the only ones I have to be excited with!

I am wondering if this was not the national ACT test. I know some of our local colleges have a "ACT" they give but it is only for use in their college network. It doesnt transfer to colleges or universities outside of their affiliate schools. When i took my ACT,, it was sent off to Iowa to score and i didnt get my scores back for 3-5 weeks, same with my son when he took his in high school. So i just wonder if the one you took, and got the results from on the same day werent for that college only?

I don't think so. The forms were just like the ACT forms I used a long time ago the first time I took it. I also asked if the scores were valid at other schools because I am applying to more than one school and was told that they in fact would be recognized. Maybe you are thinking of the COMPASS test which I believe is developed by the same company as the ACT, I took this test at a previous school and those scores did not transfer.

And my scores were not letter grades, they were on the same 1-36 scale.
