Hello! YES IT CAN!!!!!! I am a Certified Registered Nurse Hypnotist (CRNHâ„¢) and I have helped many clients (nursing and non nursing) with test anxiety using hypnosis. It helps by allowing you to enter a calm resourceful state in which you can easily access the information stored in your memory. We retain everything we see, hear, feel, taste and smell as memories and it is the ability to access those memories that key. when you get anxious you "freeze up" right? that stops the access and you can't remember anything you studied! its all there just not accessible in your current state of mind! My suggestion would be to find a good hypnotist from the NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists at www.NGH.net ) that you can build good rapport with and let them help you.
