Hybrid A&P @Bunker Hill

Has anyone taken the Hybrid A&P Level 1 class at Bunker Hill CC? I need just one prereq (A/P I) before applying but because I work evenings full time, think that the Hybrid class would make the most sense for my schedule.
However, having been out of school for a while, and knowing how tough this class is supposed to be, I'm not sure that doing it on line makes the most sense. I am computer savy, and am hard working, but am dying to hear from others who took it online. What were the challenges? Would you do it again that way?

Does it let you know the name of the professor teaching it? I took both A&P I and II at BHCC and they were the hybrid classes. I had a phenomenal professor... probably one of the best science teachers I've ever had... and I went to an undergrad school with some pretty awesome professors. I took it at BHCC 2 years ago after being out of college for a year and it was really doable. I took it because it fit into my schedule and it was the least expensive course I could find. We had a few online tests, but the actual exams were all in class. The labs are the in class portion and the notes for classes are all online, hence the hybrid.

So feel free to send your professor's name and any other info or impressions on what it was like to do the work/studying during the hybrid class. I'm really leaning towards doing it that way because of my schedule too. I think I'm pretty disciplined and will work hard to memorized the work on my own. Thanks for any other info you can share. :)

No potentially libelous information about specific schools, instructors, or health care facilities/entities should be posted in these forums. While it is important to be able to network, everyone should be mindful of the following:

1. It is a small world - when we narrow it down to a state and throw in some personal info, there is actually a pretty good chance someone may recognize you if you are not careful. Your privacy is paramount to us.

2. While allnurses.com is a wonderful place to vent (without excess personally identifiable details) it is not the place to express why ("x" specific person, place or program) is terrible. Gripe away, but since we cannot permit allegations to be made about named entities, your care in not naming them is very much appreciated.

3. Please do not give out personal information about others. Do not name names where anyone could identify the person in any facility including your nursing programs.

I've only ever heard good things about the hybrid classes there. As I mentioned, I did it for both A&P I and II. My class was full... it was in a lab room in the science portion of the building. We used blackboard to turn in some assignments, do the online assignments, and get the notes. There were also places online to post discussions and ask questions. The professors were always available for office hours that almost always were before or after the lab portion of the class, so you never really have to worry about not being able to get in touch with them.

I was working full time when I took A&PI and so were most of my classmates... my class was mid-day so I just left work, went to class, and then went back to work. The course load was not a problem even with working full time. I made LOADS of note cards... I brought them with me on the T back and forth from work. It is lots of memorization, but everything you'll do in the labs will just reinforce the notes.
