Hutchinson Community College - LPN to RN

I applied to the LPN to RN online program for the 2021 school year last week and wanted to see if anyone else applied.

Hello! My friend and I applied a couple weeks ago. We're from California. Soooooo nervous!! I feel like my score on the rubric isn't the greatest. So we shall see. I need my RN and California makes it really hard to bridge while working.

That’s great! I’m also in California. In the north Bay Area.

I hope we all get to be classmates, too! What part of California are you guys from? What scores did you guys get? I wonder if they favor GPA or Kaplan scores, or if it’s just all of it combined. I’m Worried that I didn’t fill out the application correctly on the part where it asked why I chose that program. I only put one sentence but not sure if they wanted several.

I got a 35, my friend got a 35.5. So I think we will be cutting it close. My friend emailed --------------------------------- and they look at GPA if there’s a tie on the scoring rubric. My GPA is 3.75. All A’s except on class which I took a CLEP exam for. We’re from Santa Clarita, right next to Magic Mountain. I only put one sentence as well. ?

I received an email today stating that they have reviewed my app and that it will be sent to the admissions committee in September/October. I’m assuming we all received this email?
