Hutchinson Community College (HutchCC) LPN | Paramedic to RN Online Bridge AAS - Jan 2026

Published

Hi All! I recently applied to HCC's LVN/Paramedic RN Bridge. Did anyone else apply? If so, please introduce yourself. Let's get to know each other and make connections!

I'll start: I'm currently an LVN. I reside in the Los Angeles area. I'm married, with 3 kiddos. I love to dance, I'm a foodie and I love to travel. I also love amusement parks. I am a movie fanatic; I have over 1,500 DVD's! I LOVE all things Disney and Marvel!

I'm interested in connecting with other applicants, so we can be travel buddies, study together and maybe room/share air bnbs and car rental costs to help save/cut costs while attending Hutchinson.

Thank you I private messaged you.

For anyone who got in, can you describe the orientation week? And most importantly, can you shed light on how the other semesters will go? I read that the Orientation week is the first full week of January. Did you just get an airbnb? I also read that each semester will require certain clinical hours in Hutchinson. What does the schedule look like for each semester? How many clinical days do you have to pick in Hutchinson area? Do you get flights to Hutchinson every semester for the clinical work?
