Anyone have this specific experience? Is it easier for him to get on somewhere with me being AF or would it be harder due to moves, etc. That is his biggest worry b/c he wants to stay police. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Vette Man-

If I were to get assigned to a ship, the detailer would try to find an assignment for my wife in the homeport of the ship and vice versa. That doesn't guarantee she wouldn't be deployed from her duty station. Therefore, while we are both active duty we have to designate someone that would care for the kids in event we both go. We have 3 kids, so that is a HUGE deal. My sister-in-law has all the paperwork and a card for our bank account in case it were to happen. It's a challenge to say the least, but its all worth it in the end.
