Hurst online review

Published

OKay. So my scheduled exam is on the 21st. I graduated last year from the Philippines and haven't really studied or reviewed after graduation but I'm planning to have an intensive review on the upcoming weeks. I registered for the Hurst online review and noticed a LOT of PDF files. I don't have a printer so I might have it printed at staples. The problem is it's gonna cost a gem. To anyone who did the Hurst online review, did you print it all or just rewrite them? And please if you have any suggestions for me to pass the nclex, you are very much welcome. Thank you

When I took the NCLEX a few years ago and did the Hurst review, I took the workbook to a printing place and had them print two pages to a page and printed front and back so the paper cost is substantially less. The text is a bit smaller, but it worked. I'm someone who needs to be able to write things out to remember things better so that worked for me.

@Alherm so you printed everything? as in every single page available?

That's exactly what I did. It's so much easier to have the workbook in hand when watching the videos, so that I can take notes. Like you said that help to remember things better

No. Just the workbook. Some of the other stuff available I just looked over on my computer. I think there is a practice test that I ended up printing at home, but again 2 pages per page so I think it took up 5 pages not front and back.

I also recommend the Prioritization, Delegation, & Assignment book by LaCharity. It cost about $40 new, but very worth it. I was terrible at prioritization. This book made me think about things differently.

I used Hurst and I printed out the all the pdf files for the content. I agree pda by La charity is helpful. You can have an online version for $21 I think in elsevier's website.

just print the workbook

I used the online Hurst review, I printed out all of the work pages for the videos, and a few of the fifth day materials. Its was definitely worth it.

I ended up printing most of the pdfs. I never realized that reviewing for the Nclex isn't just hard but expensive too. I would have to think about the LaCharity book because I'm already over my budget. But thank you for the suggestions

I printed the complete notes at office max for around $25
