Are you applying to their new generic or accelerated program? From previous threads, the GPAs vary year to year(3.5-3.8?) and the NLNs are usually in the 140 range.
I am applying for the generic program ! My exam score not high enough !

I applied to the accelerated program for the fall 2015. When will they announce the results? Will it be early May?

I think it would be around the first week of May, hopefully.

What they are looking for, I don't know.
i hope you guys received better news than I did.
I am really sorry to hear that Tx. You have a lot going for you. Please don't feel discouraged. There are a lot of applicants for Hunter and they really only narrow it down to NLN score and GPA. Your past experiences are wonderful however and you would certainly get into other Nursing schools.
My friend and I applied to Hunter nursing last year. I got in but she did not. She was very devastated, but she ended up applying to Adelphi the following semester, and now we will be finishing at the same time. (Hunter program is 3 years while hers is 2, lol). You should definitely try other nursing schools as you would most certainly get in. Hunter is just very competitive because it is one of the least expensive tuitions of all the BSN programs in NYC. I believe that is one of the main reasons they exclusively look at GPA and NLN score which unfortunately the average is on the higher side.
And I also want to say thank you for serving our country. I am sure you will have another opportunity to serve it in a different way when you become an RN.
I got in with 3.94 and 130 nln.
xHoneyBunny I was just wondering what I should be doing during registration time, which is coming up. Should I wait for orientation or should I try to snag a bio seat?
