Members are discussing their experiences with waiting to hear back from Hunter CRNA program admissions. Some members have received waitlist notifications, while others are still waiting for a response. There is also discussion about the timeline for accepting offers, potential movement on the waitlist, and sharing experiences with the application process. Additionally, there is interest in creating a Facebook group for accepted students.
Hello! I haven't seen a thread on this yet (I guess since they just recently opened up). But if anyone has attended the informational session about this new program and would like to share, please do so!
Deadline is Nov 1st for Summer 2025!
Quick update!
I emailed [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] on the status of applications and she got back to me and said "official decision letters from the Office of Graduate admission will be sent out over the next week or so".
So hopefully by the end of next week, we will have answers! Good luck everyone!

Perhaps they already reached out to the accepted students via phone calls and official letters of acceptance and rejections will be sent out next week. Can anyone else on here confirm if they received a phone call please.

Sure! I interviewed (currently waiting to hear back) but here are my stats:
Undergrad GPA: 3.6
Nursing GPA: 3.9
10 years of combined ICU experience including Med/Surg ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, and 7 years of Medical ICU
ACLS, BLS, CCRN
Charge Nurse, Preceptor, Mentor, hospital wide code blue and rapid response team
Various unit committees such as skin/wound care, CLABSI, and CAUTI, and unit practice councils.
When I went to the one of the open houses, they asked one of the program directors what they were looking for in their candidates. Ultimately they said they are looking for a cohort that "meshes" well together and can work well with each other. They are also interested in your leadership qualities and in what ways you were able to serve vulnerable populations, by way of community service, mission trips, etc; I feel part of their ethos is taking care of vulnerable people and those that are underserved. That is a very big part of Bellevue and something they emphasized.
