Humor Units, Humor carts

Our hospital has started a Merth (humor) unit, and our unit (Oncology) is going to be starting a Humor cart. I am trying to find out if any other nurses have had any experience or involvement in this, and what kind of activities do you do on the humor unit? What are your experiences, thoughts? Also, I need ideas to bring to my supervisor as to what to put in the humor cart, and how to decorate it. Thanks.

I keep my head down when any admin are on my unit.Lucky for me it's a dementia unit and the big fish tend to stay away because they do not understand our residents and their behaviors.The great benefits and staffing ratios far outweigh the dark side of the job for me(and I am not the full time head nurse of the unit so I really don't deal with the routine crap on a constant basis)
