I've gotten accepted to Humber, Trent, and a 4-year nursing program at UVic in BC so far. I'm still waiting to hear from Centennial, Conestoga & Mohawk. I'd prefer to go to Mohawk just because it's closer to home. When did you get your acceptance to Centennial?
Hello FutureNurse,
I may also be your classmate. I am waiting on an English test as they would not accept the use of English I did back home. Hopefully, I get to pass the English test. I will be in your class. However, I have been accepted into the practical nursing class, but I woukd loved to go straight for the BN. I just changed my mind in March.
I am an Immigrant, residing in PEI, I thought of visiting Humber college before school starts but CoVID 19 won't let me now. Can you tell me some things about Humber if you have been there please?
Thanks
Hi there,
I also applied for practical nursing as a back up but was offered admission to the 4 year BN program. I haven’t been able to tour the campus but I have seen a few things online. The campus seems to be nice and the students there seem to be nice as well. It is a commuter school.
Sorry to not be of any help.
Thanks Addison,
I have been admitted to Durham, Humber and hopefully Mohawk for practical nursing. Just dont k ow where to go. Visiting would have helped me make my decision. They all have nice stuff online. I am leaning towards Humber both for practical nursing and BN. So I am excited to be going there. Just wanted to know more stuff from someone who has experienced it.
Thanks for your prompt response.

I was offered admission to this program, but haven't quite sure decided on where I would like to go! Was there anything in particular that made you choose to go to Humber specifically?
Thanks!
I chose Humber because I've heard a lot of positive feedback about the program from other nurses. They said the professors were really informative and supportive. They also said Humber had good connections to other healthcare organizations for placements.

Hi!
I'll be starting my first year at Humber College in Sept 2020 in the BN program.
It would be awesome to get to know other students in the program!
If you're not starting this year, but have any advice to offer about the program, please feel free to share:)
