The application process hasn't even started yet but I didn't even find out about last year's scholarship until a couple days before the deadline. I did get my application in on time but was not fortunate enough to be a recipient. I intend to apply again for the upcoming scholarship. Any tips from those that were accepted? My EFC is 0, I'm in an undergraduate program, and my GPA is 3.4.
My credit was pulled!! I got free credit monitoring from HRSA bc there was some sort of breach in the security of my application so they sent me a letter stating they would pay for monitoring for 1 yr in case someone tried to steal my identity. Im sure no one will steal my identity bc I have bad credit but atleast I knew right away when they ran it for the purposes of the scholarship :)
How are you all seeing inquiries on your credit? I registered for credit karma and freecreditscore and don't see any inquiries at all. There usually are some when I checked other credit sites but my free memberships to those are expired. Any specific place I should be looking?
Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone!
This is an old question, but I was wondering if anyone knows if the "Supporting Documents" section of our applications were received by the scholarship program. I noticed that it did not show up after submitting my application. I had an important document under that section and I am hoping that they received it. Thanks :)

Experian or equifax. You could sign up for a free trial, but from the reviews I've read online, they are set up to "trap" you and will charge you even after canceling. You could always check your credit for free via annualcreditreport.com, or through the aforementioned companies (equifax/experian) for free if you meet the stipulations in the fcra -- being denied credit in the last 60 days, seeking employment (I think), etc. Hope that helps, and good luck to you.
To the earlier post from St3PHanOO about the supporting documents, this is what I know. I uploaded a few different things under the supporting documents tab, and became a little worried when after I submitted the application I did not see it. I called the support line and asked to see if they had received those documents. I was told that they are unable to see what we have submitted, just that they see it is all there. She went on to say that I should not worry. That HRSA knows that after we submit the application the "supporting documents" do not show up for us to see, but that they do get whatever was uploaded under that tab. She said it is a technical error. At first I thought she might be just telling me something I wanted to hear, but since I have heard of others having the same problem, it seems to be true. I just have my fingers crossed, and hope that they got everything I sent.

Hello I have been following this forum and noticed I never recieved a DCW form like all the applicants last year, I called HRSA and the lady was very UNhelpful she said just to wait till sept 30th and I will know if I missed the email. Did anyone on this forum recieve the DCW form in June that needed to be filled out by financial aid or did I just miss it somehow. Thanks for answering it makes me nervous that I missed it.
