Has anybody recieved any news regarding the 2014 application for the Nurse Corps scholarship? Any "Congratluations" e-mails yet? I applied in May 2014 and I haven't heard anything yet. I'm checking my application status ("Under Review") and reading these threads daily, anxious to get hear some good news. Does anyone know when we will find out if we've been chosen or not? Threads from the past few years point to this week as the week that everyone gets their e-mails. However, I checked the Nurse Corps official facebook page and it says that all applicants will get an e-mail (accpetance or rejection) by September 30, 2014. I am hoping we don't have to wait that long! Any news, good or bad, is welcome!

According the other threads, no one has heard back. Only 1 girl has confirmed her credit was pulled (they apparently check if you have defaulted on previous loans) but idk if everyone gets their credit pulled or not. I havent as of yet.

I think the Sept 30 date just means the last day possible we will know if we got the scholarship or not. Many have mentioned that last year around this time students were hearing back, so some time by the end of this month, im hoping *fingers crossed*

When I called a few weeks ago they said it could be up to 90 days from the application deadline, which would put it at September 22nd at the latest.

Hello. I too am awaiting to hear from Nurse Corps + its driving me crazy! I did proceed with getting student loans just in case!

Also, Zrvirgo, I just wanted to point out that 90 days from May 22 is August 22! Not Sept! So it should be this month!

I just got my "Congratulations" e-mail! I'm a finalist! YAHOOOOOO!

I know some of you are trying to find patterns....so I noticed my credit was checked July 30th, I got the "Congratulations" email today (August 1st) and I have until the 8th to get some documents in. I'm from Chicago and my last name starts with a D...in case you all want to know the stats.

Good of luck to all of you! Has anyone else gotten this email???

Stephanieday2, I saw what you posted in the other topic about the scholarship and I had the same problem. Received the email but offer was recalled. Contacted them and got another email saying it was a mistake and that I am still under review. I was wondering if you also got this?

Yes, I called and they told me they would push my case to the officials and then I received an email saying that there wa a glitch in their system on Friday and that even though our portal says "Offer Recalled" our applications are atull under review. I'm so frustrated!!

Are you serious? A "GLICH" in their flippin system? This is unacceptable! WTH? as official and stressful as their application and

supporting doc's and teacher's letters etc....that a gov't agency has a GLICH that informed you guys of the wrong thing? Playing

with your life and dreams? I think you both deserve to get this scholarship due to their flaws and lack of preparedness with

their system! I am still "Under review" and now have no faith in their system! What an aweful thing to happen to you both!

I am sure you will get it in the end! I am hoping for you both (and me). Take care

Hey KevinP....you were accepted? SOOO Awesome! But you didnt get the same message as these

gals did? That the offer was re-called? Let us know? Curious if the entire system is worthless to trust? thanks and Congrats to u if ligit!
