HPSP Air Force

Hello all!

Im finishing my BSN and applying to Valparaiso's BSN to DNP in the April of 2018.

If theres anyone out there who has utilized the Air Force HPSP for FNP can you please help?!?!

my husband is a TSgt in the Air Force and I REALLY want to be selected for the active duty HPSP. I am already living the military life and now would like to become a member myself.

Does anyone have any fool proof methods on how to get selected? I have some awesome letters of recommendation and a student portfolio with all of my "stuff." This includes transcripts, clinical hours/patients that I've seen, certificates, etc., etc.

I'll have two bachelors degrees, which I'm hoping puts me ahead of the curve- one is health science, the other will be nursing.

Im in Michigan and it's SUPER competitive. I was told only 3 FNPs were selected for the 2018 fiscal year and I want to be selected as an FNP for 2019 fiscal year.
