I got a interview in less then two weeks for a position at Manhattan Eye Ear Throat hospital- Lennox Hill. I was wondering what is it like to work there? Is the moral good? Is the Management fair to the workers? Is the new contract negotiations going good? Thanks for your help

One assumes the "morals" of "Lenox Hill" hospital are no different than other NYC facilities.

One of my cousin's sorority sister's just resigned from Lenox Hill for various reasons. She worked there as an RN for a little over a year one of her many complaints was that the CNA's would not do their job duties and she would have to do the CNA's jobs. I forgot all her other complaints but there was a few more. She got a great job at a plastic surgery office in the city making the same money with 90% less stress.
Thanks for the info.

100% agree with above post!
IIRC aides at LHH are members of 1199SEIU, which depending upon which side of the fence you sit upon explains lots of things.
But overall would you say its a good place to work at?
Cannot say as one does not work there and the last friends who did hit the road during the upheaval when LHH was shopping itself around and or may have shut down (during the same time Saint Vincent's was going through it's drama). Shortly after St. Vinny's closed NS-LIJ purchased LHH and the only thing one has heard since is they are staffing up to replace doctors and nurses who left. This was several years ago now so cannot say what is going on today.
Did have to go to LHH's ER (live in the area) a year ago with a friend and noticed the late nite ER staff was heavy on Philippine nurses. Mentioned this to a friend who works at LHH (in administration) and his point of view was that the general staff nurses don't like nights so....
Thing to remember Manhattan Eye Ear Throat is not exactly the same as LHH on East 77th Street. LHH purchased MEET back in 2000 or 2001, and then as mentioned above the entire group was purchased by NS-LIJ. Usually whenever a place is merged and or purchased things change, sometimes for the good, sometimes for the bad.
