  1. Wow! I hope u get the job. Was it like behavorial type questions? Interviews can really scrutinizing at times.
  2. Yeah the recruiter actually told me its a waiting list and they go accordingly. So hopefully I get a call soon! Thank u guys
  3. Good news people are starting to get their second interviews, hope to get my call soon also. Good luck guys..
  4. Pretty sure i work for this same agency.
  5. So sad indeed how the job market had become. It is connections everywhere you go nowadays, those of us without relatives or friends working in a hospital are just being toyed around with! I have just lost hope of ever getting a position in the hospital, after over 100 applications, and still no job, don't know what else to do. Really frustrating and sad.
  6. Don't know what they up to really..., why keep interviewing people if you don't have the openings? For the mean time, I am still applying to other places, am not waiting on them.
  7. Hunh...! Which part of NY are you referring to...!
  8. Still waiting for my second interview also, it's been almost 2 months now, I call every now and then to check but the lady tells me she still hasn't got anything for me yet! I have no idea how they match a candidate with the NM, so far it's a waiting game. Frustrating indeed...!
  9. It is very basic med-calc, n also how to prioritize, no big deal. Don't stress at all, I scored 100 on both test. Good luck
  10. Will remember you In my prayers!
  11. I live in NY city and the job market even for BSN nurses is not that promising, I have applied to more than 100 positions and only 1 interview, which did not end in a job offer. It's very hard here. As for asking for a managerial position, my agency already have nurses who do that kind of work and I doubt if they need more as its a very small agency.
  12. It is a perfect nursing job if you are still in school, you get to study and do home works. But as a BSN prepared Nurse and not ready to back to school now, I have nothing else to do but stare into space for a whole shift, lol,,
  13. Thanks! I have no choice than to manage with this for now till I land a hospital job, hope To get one soon until I go insane!
  14. I don't know if anybody else is going through this, but I feel like a babysitter, there is nothing else to do all day but NG tube feeding and suctioning, and then I get to sit the rest of the time just staring into space, I am afraid I will develop some kind of depression with this kind of nursing, but I am a new grad and couldn't find a job in the hospitals, I had to do this to pay my bills.anyone else is going through this?
