How will schools know if you took online courses?

Published

I'm applying to multiple ABSNs programs and most of them don't care if you took online courses or not, but one in particular states online courses for prerequisites are not accepted. But honestly, how would they know if any of the courses were online if it doesn't indicate that on your transcripts? Have you or anyone you know applied to a school that doesn't accept online courses but was still accepted?

I have no idea how they might find out.  However, if you use them and the school somehow discovers that you used non-approved prerequisites, what do you think they might do?

And more importantly, at least in my opinion, are you willing to sacrifice your principles to do this?

Best wishes.

Schools verify curricula when accepting credits. Most schools know what others offer, and if they don't, they contact the other school, as class components can vary greatly
