I am an Australian nurse. I have taken NCLEX exam on June 20, 2016. I passed exam but South Carolina Board of Nursing cannot issue nursing license without social security number. I moved to Arizona and I have to apply Arizona State Board of Nursing for NCLEX by exam because nursing license cannot be issued in my condition. Arizona State Board of Nursing requested to send official NCLEX result via South Carolina Board of Nursing. However , when I contacted South Carolina Board of Nursing, they told me they cannot provide this service without the license being issued and advised to contact PearsonVue for the results to be sent to Arizona State Board of Nursing. PearsonVue said that they cannot help with this matter and speak with South Carolina Board of Nursing.
I am not sure what to do at this circumstances. Has anyone else been in the similar condition? Please suggest what could be another step.

The only state that I know that routinely transfers results is CA BRN.
Doesn't AZ require a valid SSN also?
Pearson cannot help once you take the exam. They can change the receiving BoN for a few before you take/pass the NCLEX.
Im not certain BoN are mandated to transfer NCLEX results.
Your only recourse may be to wait until you have legal status with work rights in the US, secure a SSN, complete the licensing process in SC then endorse the license to AZ.
