Hi! I presently residing now here in Nevada and was so desperate to gather informations taking up the CGFNS and Nclex exams. I finished Bachelor of Nursing in the Philippines but unfortunately i failed to pass the licensure examination there last June 2001. I dont have any chance to take another exam that time because we immigrate in England. I've been leaving here in Nevada for three weeks now and thingking to pursue my career in Nursing. But i got so much questions. Im not sure if im Qualified to take the CGFNS eventhough im not a license Nurse in the philippines.

In case im eligble to take exam is there any review classes that available.?..to help me to refresh my knowledge about Nursing.

I hope you guy's can help me w/ these. Your responds will be highly appreciated.

Not sure if it is an issue because you sat NLE and failed it, you will need to check with the BON first as it probably wouldn't be a problem if you hadn't sat it but you have and will need to declare it.

Looking at Nevada requirements you need CES

Thanks very much that's a big help!:wink2:

you've been out of nursing school for almost a decade? check out the nevada brn state of nevada - state board of nursing see what their requirements are for foreign rn's. i'm unsure if they require a local license. many states do require a local license and if nevada does require it, you will need to obtain one even if you go through a state that doesn't require it and try to endorse into nevada. each state has their own set of requirements. good luck

Thank you for your advise...that helps in someway.:loveya:
