I passed my test and now on the department of public health site it says my name on the registry, but for my lvn program I need to print out the license they said you can do it online, but I have no idea how! it just says my name and info online it doesn't give me option to print out anything. Does anyone now how to do it ?

The site should say that your CNA certification is active. That's what the school needs to see. The Department of Health was back logged even before COVID, so who knows how it is now. You cannot print the actual license from the site, just the website statement that you are indeed a CNA. For me, I had to call the state to get them to send a copy of my CNA certification. Wish I could be of more help, sorry. This is the link you should be using http://cvl.cdph.ca.gov/SearchPage.aspx. Whatever is displayed there is what you can print, but nothing more. The site is not efficient, so you may need to search by your name and go through every name like yours in the state to get to your certification, but if you need it for your LVN program, it's worth it. Good luck!
Also, after unsuccessfully emailing them, I ended up having to call the Dept of Health to have them mail me my certification (not sure if I remembered to mention that). It came pretty quick. Like within 1 or 2 weeks. Not sure how COVID situation will impact this. (it took them 3 months to respond to my e-mail and this was before the COVID situation). However, they may have hired more people for email replies. In any case, calling is the best bet. Good luck!

Cali, don't know. I live in Illinois but certified in Indiana and Indiana sent mine to me within 2-3 weeks. I got mine within two, two and a half, TOPS.
