How do you get the prerequisites before you apply for nursing school? Do you have to take a year of college first, or take them as a summer program during high school or something? Or do they have you take them at the beginning of the nursing program? Confused face.

Yes you can. That's how almost everyone I know did it. I attended a 4 year BSN program and was admitted to my university as a freshman nursing student directly out of high school. What other schools would consider "pre-reqs" were built into the Core curriculum for the Nursing School at my University. This is also how every single college I applied to did it.
