How to Prepare for Nursing School !?

Hello everyone! I have applied to the ADN program at SJDC. Although I am not in the program yet I am very confident that I will be offered a spot (crossing my fingers:)). Right now I am just working to save money. I want to start getting prepared for this and was wondering if any of you had any tips on how to do that. Also what recommendations you can give me on what supplies you prefer ( school supplies/watch/backpack etc. ) and also I would like to do some reading/studying to get prepared whether it be a book on what to expect or a book to get started on some light weight studying to be a little ahead before school begins. I applied for the Fall of 2014 so I have a lot of time until the program begins. All comments are welcome :) thank you !
