Great news i found out that im was selected to be interview for a residency program in my area ?
I'm so nervous at the thought of being interviewed. Has anyone ever interviewed for a major hospital. What kind of questions were you asked ? What should i bring? What kind of questions should i asked?
I am even thinking about going out to buy a brand new business attire.
From what i hear interviews are in a conference room in front of 20 people or more.
sorry if it seems like i am freaking out i just want some advice.

It will probably be more like 3-5 people in most places. ?
Read up on the organization. Find out what their philosophies are. Prepare questions having to do with the patient population, the hardest and best parts of the job to those interviewing you and what they hope to find in an ideal nurse resident. Then explain how you meet those needs and fit with that culture.
The most important thing in these interviews is to personify someone they would want to work with. As a new grad, fit is the biggest thing. Think of it as a chance to talk about nursing with a bunch of other nurses. Let your enthusiasm for your profession shine through. Smile. Be approachable and confident.
And yes, business wear would be a good idea. Good luck!
