I struggle this semester and I feel like my studying and not being familiar with nursing style questions were my downfall. How can I be more effective or successful in studying and preparing for nursing exams?

The Q&A success series of books put out by Davis (amazon and barnes and noble) give great, in depth rationales. They have books for each topic you will cover in school. They are very helpful. Your library may even have them to look at. Good Luck!
Thank ill check with amazon and my library!

Yes! Make sure that you get the actually Q&A books. Those ones have a lot of questions and they provide the indepth rationals as Cindyel posted. There are other books to study for the NCLEX that provide content information with questions at the end of each chapter. Just make sure those aren't what you get. You want the Q&A review books - lots of questions :)
There's Q&A books by Davis and Lippincott and others.
There's also some really good info about answering NCLEX style questions. Do a google search for it. It breaks down how to look at the question, etc. If you can't find anything good let me know. I have some stuff I can send ya!
Good luck!
