Lecture consists of; the teacher talking about the weather for a bit, then tells us what pages we have to memorize, then we leave.
Seriously. I got a D on the first exam.
We had to memorize about 40 pages bones of
-The skull (anterior, posterior, lateral, and dissected views from inside)
-Every single foramen, condyle, canal, etc.
-Shoulder
-Ribs (sternum and os too)
-Pelvis
-Arms
-Legs
Each question had a multiple choice of 10 ANSWERS!!!!!!
How do people do well in this class? THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT OF INFORMATION!!!
And that's JUST the lab. The lecture is more straight forward.

I honestly think the difficulty level of this class varies from school to school as well. Some schools cram Anatomy & Physiology into one semester (mine does). Some have Anatomy one semester and Physiology another semester. Some schools have A&P 1 and A&P 2. You could be blessed with an awesome teacher, or you could have the worst teacher ever. The practicals could be labeling sheets of paper, labeling models, or even labeling cadavers. Multiple choice or fill in the blank. Sometimes the class is based on the book, and sometimes there is no book! There are SO many variable to this. It's awesome to reach out for help on studying techniques, but sometimes you have to cater your studying for what works for you and the situation you're in :)
Honestly though, your lab sounds pretty doable. We have to memorize all of that too. Except it's not multiple choice, you have to spell everything out with correct spelling. You go to a new station every minute for two questions, and you can't go back. I've taken pictures of all the models. Made the pictures into flash cards and gotten an A on every practical. Has it been hard? Yes. But it's worth it :)

Not sure. Honestly I think the big man upstairs was looking out for me for my Anatomy and Physiology class. Seriously, I got an A- when I probably should have gotten a B. That's why I'm so thankful this thanksgiving, among many other things.

I'm probably a rare individual here. I actually passed anatomy and physiology with over 100% in each with only studying a few hours a day. (I was very, very lucky that my prof offered an extra credit point on lab practicals)
I was beyond surprised that I actually did this. I took a few years off from college and they were my first classes going back. I took them in the summer, so I had a whole semester packed into 4 weeks. With everything being taught so quickly, I felt like I retained it better because I didn't have class MWF. In fact, I had class every day, all day. And I would do this over again with every class if I could. I get rather lazy when I have a whole semester for everything.
If I was to give anyone advice (and this is what I did), I would look at videos online. I used my book for the first exam then I realized it was worthless. I seriously just looked up youtube videos for everything. I drew pictures. I came up with silly ways to remember things. But the youtube videos saved me. I couldn't even tell you what book I used, I never read the thing. In addition, I also thought about function as I studied. Lastly, I spaced out my studying. I never once crammed. I could not recall something very well if I had only studied it once prior. I needed a few minutes here and there.
Now, lets not get started on AOIs.... haha
