I am a full-time CNM student and work part-time nights as an RN. I am also a stay-at-home Mom (which of course is a full-time job). It's a lot of juggling, but it's doable!
Are you attending Frontier? I'm planning to work PT too and am also a stay-at-home mom of 4 boys. It's good to know that it's doable.

Yes, I go to Frontier (althought I'm still in my first term...so I'm not a veteran yet!) I think you'll be fine. Plus, almost everyone I've met so far also has kids, so they are a great support system for you!
It just takes some creative juggling, hard work and constant affirmations....good luck!

How's your first term going? What classes are you taking and have you selected your preceptor yet?

I know that midwifery programs are very rigorous and that you don't have much time but can you work PT while in school? This is a second career for me and I'm still paying for my previous school loans so getting more loans isn't possible for me. Any suggestions would be wonderful. Thanks
