Hi Greenland,
For my MSN I received a research assistantship. This meant I was the research clerical person for my professor's projects. A little bit of a pain, BUT, I got full tuition, stipend and lots of assistance for my thesis.
For my MS, I had tuition reimbursement from my employer $4000/calendar year, plus I received a traineeship which covered all tuition for certain quarters (Fall, Spring, Fall) so then I used my tuition reimbursement to sprinkle in-between. One of my colleagues did a graduate assistant job and she had to help in the undergrad lab for assessments, ivs etc. But she got a full ride. Neither she or I had to have a certain grade point average when we applied, mine was 3.7, but it was based on need and it so happened very few (like 3 of us) knew about it...so we got it all the way through. Hope this helps.

I don't remember exactly but I think my program was 3000-5000/semester, now i was taking like 14 credits a semester and 6 cr. is full time. I took out loans for most of it, worked full time to support myself. I paid the last 2 semesters out of pocket cuz i was sick of taking out loans.
I think my masters total was 30000 approx. (7 full time semesters)
My undergrad at private school was like 50000 for 1 year!! but i didn't work either and had to use loan money for rent, etc..
I got the NELRP to pay back like 24k of the undergrad portion.
Its a lot of money but there is a lot of job security when you graduate as well.

I'm just asking how you pay the tuition for your MSN? Does the hospital you're working pay that ? If so, how much? How much does a part-time MSN program cost generally? There is no longer loan forgivement program this year.
Thanks!
