Well, I graduated from a CNA class 4 months ago but still no job yet, I'm very stressful. I applied some places online but no one want to hiring me w/ no previous experience.

So, I just want to ask you all that HOW OFTEN does your facilities like Nursing Home, Assisted Living Facility, or Skilled Living Facility have opening position for CNA? HOW OFTEN do they hiring CNA in months or year? I know it will all depend on the facilities, whether they are understaffed and have money to hiring for more aids. But please share what you know about where you're working - so HOW OFTEN does your facility hiring CNA? What you'll sharing would be very helpful to me b'cuz it will give me an an idea to know how regularly does facilities hiring CNA. Hopefully facilities would have opening position for CNA frequently b'cuz this would give me hope which mean I still a chance to find a job soon. B'cuz there are 2 nursing homes that I really like to work at since it's near by where I live. But one don't have opening position for CNA while the other one have opening position but they're not hiring now. Therefore I'm very hopeless b'cuz I don't have a chance to work at either one at all. I don't have a car that's why I want to narrow down to these 2 places for now. I have been waiting for months to see if these 2 places are hiring but when I called them they said no:crying2:.

Since neither of these places know who you are from your calls, get your work documentation together, dress for an interview, and go in person to apply for a job. If told they are not hiring, ask if you can submit an application so they have it on hand in case the situation changes soon. Most employers will keep an application on file for 30, 45, or 60 days.

Go to the employment department website http://www.caljobs.ca.gov. As I recall, you are in the San Jose area. If you look under the CNA, Healthcare Support, Healthcare-Santa Clara County headings you will see seven listings for CNA as well as listings for home health aide. HCR Manorcare in Sunnyvale had a job listing for CNA. Experience is preferred but not required. I am certain you can take the bus from your house to get to this place in Sunnyvale. As I recall, it is on DeAnza Blvd. You can also look for CNA jobs on http://www.indeed.com or on http://www.craigslist.org. But be careful with craigslist. I would only go with a listing where the employer is identified and you recognize the employer. Good luck.

Yes, I'm from San Jose and I remember that you're always have goods tips and advices:). I just take a look at caljobs.ca.gov and it seem like a good site and it's new to me, the other sites that you provided I already know and I did applied for jobs there before but no luck yet. Again, thanks for being so helpful. Now, I'm back to caljobs to seeking for job, hopefully I can find one!!!

The HCR Manorcare job is there. First you have to register your info to be able to use the site. Then you go to job search. Santa Clara County. Healthcare Support. Aides, nursing and attendants. This job sounds like it is right for you. They don't require experience.
