I am a LPN and my license are on probation. All last year I was tested once a month. This year I have been tested 2 times a month 6 times this year. I dont make much money as it is and $70 a test twice a month isnt helping. How often are you being drug tested?

i finish my 2 yr program in november- have been tested twice a month - every month.

Twice a month, every month for two years. I look at it as a life-saver. Without this program I wouldn't be able to make ANY money...because I wouldn't be able to practice. Plus, it helps keep me accountable. Small price to pay IMHO... and I feel your pain. I'm broke too. I'm still paying off my rehab and halfway house bills...

According to my consent agreement, I have to pee for the BON for two years prior to being able to apply for reinstatement. I have finished one year, and just started my second year (October 1st). Since starting my second year of urine drops, I've been called to pee 3 times.

From what I understand from reading many posts over the years, the closer you get to being able to apply for re-instatement, the more times the BON has you pee. Just keep clean and you will do fine.

I am in tpapn and I go 3 times a month faithfully. 2 times for drugs and once for alcohol. It is really expensive but at the end of the day, I am grateful to have the opportunity to continue practicing nursing so I won't complain.

I’m tested quarterly for now. I’m in the mental health track .
