Hi everyone...
I'm just wondering how much time do you spend each day studying for NCLEX?? I need something to motivate me, I didn't study much over the holiday weekend but now I'm cracking down on the books. However I am a person to take periodic breaks to keep me sane. Anyways, please friends, give me some insight on how much you study each day...

Most people recommend from two to four hours daily, depending upon having a job and other responsibilities.

I study 2-3 hours a day, I get tired after 3hrs. I have a schedule I use, for example today I reviewed the endocrine system and studied respiratory. Tomorrow I'll review respiratory and study maternity. Im using Saunders, La Charity and Exam cram. Do at least an hour everyday.

I just got my results for the CPNRE exam....I passed! This exam is similar to the NCLEX-PN exam in the US! I found that studying 2 to 4 hours at least 4 times a week in a group helped me! Myself and a few others started to prepare about 4 months in advance, increasing the amount of studying as the exam date grew closer! Try the group thing, all of us passed by the way!
Hope this helps and Good Luck to you!

On average I studied about 2 to 4 hours a day. There were days that I studied longer than that, but it was on my weaker areas. Took the nclex RN yesterday- shut off at 75 and got the good pop up. Good luck!

I think I may do 2-4 hours a day last time I took the nclex I was studing 10 hrs a day and ended up not passing I think I went over board and couldn't retain as much. I'm also giving myself 8 weeks to study everyday before I take my boards I hope this is sufficient enough time for me to study.

I studied for 2hrs at a time, and if I was up to it, I would go on for another hour or so, but the most important thing is, while you are not reading, is to have your mind process what you have read, think about the questions why were they wrong or right. Think procedures through........and before you know it, you will have it.
I let the day predict how I studied, if I was up to studying all day I did, if I needed a break and nothing was sticking, I stopped. Although, some days you did have to push yourself through to get bulk work completed.
Try and do something each day, even if it is an hour and simply reviewing lab values, something is better than nothing..........
I agree studying something everyday is better than studying nothing.

I need help! I failed my nclex twice already. I am trying to get a hold of myself and motivate to study. I am overwhelmed with all the topics. Any advice on how should I start my study habits. I can't study all day, and i need breaks in between to keep me sane. I am working, and really don't have the luxury to study.. I have all the books, cd's, audios you name it, but its just the motivation I need. I work 5 times a week and I get home around 7 pm, from then i am tired, but I still try to make time for it. I try to eat first then start studying. Any advice?? that would mean alot to me. Need help so badly..Thanks!
