Hi,
I would like to ask fellow RN's who got a lawyer to defend them while facing license investigation/ accusation particularly in California. How much do they cost?
My license was discipline in ND. I relocated in SoCal and would like to transfer my probation in California. I started my RN endorsement application.
I would like to know how much an attorney would cost, just in case I will be needing them.
TIA

Hi, Thank u for the info.
I actually had a bad experience with a lawyer. My previous attorney only pushes me to surrender my license to avoid paying fines and once he knew I relocated in Cali, he immediately informs ND BON, thus causing my license in probation eventually to be now suspended, unless I practice RN there.
Which got me thinking that I should have not hired him in the first place, as he is not my advocate. He is not a healthcare atty though.
I'm glad I didn't surrender my license and continue researching on almost all nursing forums, I told him, I will be in OIG list if I surrender my license, which he have no idea.
