How much do nurses make with ProMedica?

U.S.A. Ohio

I was just wondering if anyone knows how much new nurses make with the ProMedica health system in the Toledo area? Also, how much can you top out at? Are there any bonuses or anything like that? I am only asking because I currently work at University of Michigan and make $29.19 an hour as a new nurse. Plus I get quarterly and annual bonuses as well as the potential for my pay to go up every year. Needless to say I am in a pretty good position but was wondering if it would be worth looking into working at ProMedica because I happen to live in the Toledo area and have to commute to work (about 50 min).

$23-25/hr. When I checked last year.

If you have a position at UM, count yourself lucky. I am familiar with both health systems and there are many reasons why you are better positioned at UM than in the Toledo area. If you need more details- PM me. Have you considered moving to lessen your commute?

I know you posted this 2 years ago but it seems I'm in the exact same spot as you! I graduated here in Toledo & got a job at the U of M making 29.90/HR. Thought it'd be worth it since promedica only pays 25.50. Turns out it's not...an hour drive back & forth 5 days a week (I work 8's) and between the $ I pay in gas & gif parking, it wasn't worth it. I accepted a job at Toledo hospital & even thought the pay is less, it's free parking & 5-10 mins away, 3 days a week
