Enough for what, exactly ...to get hired? to do well in the position? The first one depends on your local job market and a million other variables. The second one is highly variable, as well.
Your mom probably knows the market in your area better than we do. And of course, she knows your level of ability better, too.

Hi everyone
Currently, I'm a CNA at an ALF, and this month marks my 8 months there. My mom, who happens to be a nurse herself, suggested it was time to find a position at a hospital. I did in fact find one that sounds promising, and they say it is an entry level position. I was just wondering if 8 months is enough, especially for a hospital (even though it is an entry level position). I know working as a CNA is good experience for a future nursing career, but would working in a hospital setting help out in the long run? Any advice would be much appreciated!
