I'm curious. When I received my orientation package they told us that are books will be a minumum of $600..... . I hope that we'll use them all.

Do they mean for the nursing program or the first semester? In our program they estimate that the books will run $900.00 for the 2 years (ASN Program). The cost for the first semester is $524.77 (Some of the books you buy the first semester are used both years) this is the price for new books.

2 Billion dollars!!!!!

ok. I exagerated, but it sure feels like it.

I guestimated it to be approx $620 for the first semester if I take pharmacology (accelerated program) and $540 if I don't (that would be the NON-accelerated program :) ).

I'm in an ADN program, and this first semester the books are going to run around 600. Unfortunately, you can't get your hands on used books (nursing students either have to have them for the next group of classes or keep them for reference)
