How much $$ in Illinois a Cna makes

Hey, you're in "luck."

Last I heard, federal minimum wage was $7.75/hr. But Illinois' minimum wage is $8.75/hr. (This was so, when I worked as a CNA in LTC, 12/10 to 6/11.)

But what you might be paid in a hospital or other setting, I have no info. When I transitioned to a hospital E.R. (an area in which I have considerable experience--which was discounted 100%), I took a 4% pay cut, assuming it would be made up in the near future. Well, you know what happens when we assume.

Pay will depend on where in Illinois you are employeed. I have heard well into the teens per hour in Chicago. Joliet hospitals around the $14.00, nursin homes/ LT healthcare around 10-11.

Depends on the facility. Anywhere from $9.00 (some nursing homes and ALFs) to $18.00 (federal facilities)
